I am a dedicated educator who is an Army Veteran. I have spent more than a decade helping adult learners, international students, and first-generation college-bound youth achieve their goals. With expertise in teaching English Language skills, leadership training, and cross-cultural communication, I have taught in a variety of settings ranging from the Defense Language Institute to the University of Texas at San Antonio and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México–San Antonio.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments where every student feels valued and capable of success. Beyond the classroom, I have served as President, Vice President, and Board Member of the non-profit organization, TexTESOL II, leading conferences, expanding outreach, and advocating for excellence in language education.

 

I believe in inspiring both learners and educators, and a conviction in the transformative power of education drives me.
